Term 2 Writing
WALT write an interesting recount.
SUCCESS CRITERIA We have thought about our audience and made interesting sentences.
STUDENT VOICE " I thought about making my writing interesting for the readers".
Te Reo Term 2
WALT use Maori greetings.
SUCCESS CRITERIA I can use the greetings Tena Koe, Tena Korua and Tena Koutou.
STUDENT VOICE " I can say Hello in Maori".
Reading Term 2
WALT read so it sounds like we are talking.
SUCCESS CRITERIA: I can read while looking along the line so I see what words are coming.
STUDENT VOICE: ' I do not read just one word at a time. I try to make it sound like I am talking".
Maths Term 2
WALT count in ones, twos, fives and tens.
SUCCESS CRITERIA We can count like 1,2,3 .....
2,4,6....... 5,10,15 ............... 10,20,30 ............
STUDENT VOICE " I know how to count up in ones, twos, fives and tens. I can go backwards too".
My Writing Term 2
WALT think about sounds in words.
SUCCESS CRITERIA We will get the first sound of a word we are trying to spell and then some of the other sounds.
STUDENT VOICE " I know how to work out the sounds in words".
Writing Term 1
WALT write a sentence leaving spaces between the words.
SUCCESS CRITERIA: I will have a finger space after each word.
STUDENT VOICE " I have written a sentence going to the disco. I have finger spaces between the words".
Swimming Term 1
WALT float and swim.
SUCCESS CRITERIA I can let my feet come up off the bottom of the pool. I can use my legs to kick and my arms to do freestyle.
STUDENT VOICE " I can float across the pool".
